of the Valley Times in Pleasanton and the San Ramon Valley Times in Danville. Seebach subsequently wrote an

is scheduled to take place on the UCSC
campus from July 17 through August
31.

Summer construction: Projects under way and in the pipeline

From installing modular housing to planning a new fitness center, construction crews and campus planners will be busy with a number of projects on campus this summer. In a related project, lighting fixtures in 3,000 offices across campus will be upgraded or replaced.

From RNA to football: UCSC hosts a wide range of summer conferences

UCSC will host nearly 60 camps, conferences, institutes, and meetings this summer, on subjects ranging from the
structure of RNA to playing football. One of these conferences, the Dickens Universe, will focus on David Copperfield and Pride and Prejudice.
