Students will vote this spring on increase in child care fee

This year's celebration of the Week of the Young Child holds special significance at UCSC for two reasons: The Children's Center on campus is marking its 20th anniversary, and child care advocates are preparing to ask student voters to support an increase in the campus's Child Care Program Fee.

Stevenson College hosts conference for Pajaro Valley teenage girls

Last week, the second annual Teen Women's Conference brought 40 teenagers from the Pajaro Valley School District to Stevenson College.

Campus community invited to attend major conference on the environment

Titled PEWS XXI: The Global Environment and the World-System, the three-day conference will bring together leading scholars from sociology, history, economics, environmental studies, geography, and political science.
