UC President Robert C. Dynes will preside over a brief ceremony investing Chancellor Denice D. Denton as UC Santa Cruz's ninth chancellor and presenting her with the UC Santa Cruz Chancellor's Medallion.
Chancellor Denton's inaugural address, "Excellence and Diversity: Leading in the 21st Century," will present a call to action to implement the UC Santa Cruz vision, emphasizing intellectual rigor and social relevance.
