![]() $5 million gift launches UCSC's new School of Engineering ![]() UCSC has received a $5 million gift, the largest in campus history, from philanthropist Jack Baskin (photo, below) to launch its new School of Engineering. ![]() Chancellor Greenwood will be inaugurated on Friday, May 23
In a traditional academic ceremony, M.R.C. Greenwood will be inaugurated
as the seventh chancellor of UCSC on the afternoon of
Friday, May 23. Open to the public, the inauguration will begin
at 12:30 p.m. in the Upper Quarry Amphitheater.
