More than 600 gamelan lovers celebrated the 20th year of the UCSC gamelan
program May 16 and 17. The performances were presented as part of UCSC's Inaugural Concert Series for its new Music
Center. As part of the May 17 performance, Undang Sumarna received a plaque for his 20 years of distinguished teaching.
