Students, faculty, staff, and members of the Santa Cruz community are invited to this forum, which will be held Friday, June 6, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of Porter College.

At the forum, planners will describe the fitness center project in detail, discussing window and deck placement, traffic flow patterns, and class programming. A model and blueprints will be available for viewing.

Current plans call for siting the fitness center south of the existing tennis courts in the East Field area. The 10,600-square-foot center is being designed by BOORA Architects of Portland, Oregon. Construction is expected to start in January 1998.
