Public forums scheduled:

• Bay Tree Bookstore and Graduate Commons project

• OPERS fitness center

The Bay Tree Bookstore and the Graduate Student Commons Planning Committees invite the public to learn more about the progress of the commons and bookstore project. The forum takes place on Wednesday, June 4. Another forum on Friday, June 6, will provide information about the planned fitness center at the East Field.

Computer scientist and educator to discuss the future of universities

Peter Denning of George Mason University will describe the forces driving universities toward new conceptions of knowledge and learning in his talk on Tuesday, May 27.
