produced. Amelie Hastie, assistant professor of film and digital media, was a guest on KUSP Radio's Talking Pictures program in March and will be on the show again in May. Gary Griggs, director of the Institute of Marine Sciences, and Mark Carr, associate professor of ecology and evolutionary biology, were quoted in an article in the Santa Cruz Sentinel about a visit to the Monterey Bay Area by the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy. Griggs and Carr both gave talks to the commissioners. Sharon Daniel, assistant professor of film and digital media, was interviewed by the San Diego Union-Tribune on the power of temporary memorial shrines.
