August 14, 2000 Take Note Shakespeare Santa Cruz extends its summer festival season; special discounts available for faculty and staff Due to a high demand for tickets, Shakespeare Santa Cruz (SSC) has extended its summer festival season through Sunday, September 3, adding nine performances. These are: Cymbeline: Wednesday, August 30; Friday, September 1; and Saturday, September 2--all at 8 p.m. Kean: Wednesday, August 30; Friday, September 1; and Saturday, September 2--all at 8 p.m. Love's Labour's Lost: Thursday, August 31, 8 p.m.; Saturday, September 2, 2 p.m.; and Sunday, September 3, 2 p.m. SSC also offers a discount on tickets to UCSC staff and faculty. Regular single-ticket prices range from $24 to $32, but are available to UCSC employees for $21. The special ticket prices are available for all shows between Sunday evening and Friday evening but cannot be used for Saturday or Sunday matinees. For tickets, call (831) 459-2159.
