With the theme of "Innovation and Tradition: UC in the 21st Century," the conference featured plenary sessions, keynote panels, and breakout sessions on topics such as outreach strategies, fund-raising, retaining employees, and other subjects. A reception at the San Jose Museum of Art the first night of the conference featured French caberet music performed by Java Blue.
