VocaMotion--an a capella quartet including staff member Gail Bloebaum (a.k.a. Gail Clark) and two alumni, Kath Robinson (sociology) and Michael Levy (biology)--proudly presents to the community a CD release party, June 12th, at Pacific Cultural Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $11 in advance at Gateways Books, 1018 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz; $12 at the door, $5 for 18 and under. VocaMotion is described as "singing with great passion and humour, utilizing a full range of vocal stylings to enthral and inspire audiences."

VocaMotion will also be conducting a youth vocal workshop for kids 12 to 18 the same day at Louden Nelson Community Center at 1:30 p.m. The workshop is $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Kids from the workshop get into the concert free. Kids under 12 must preregister by calling (831) 438-8479.
