Awards and Honors

Joseph Bunnett, professor emeritus of chemistry and biochemistry, was named trustee emeritus by the Board of Trustees at Reed College, Portland, Oregon. Bunnett received the following citation: "Reed College has been honored by your 27 years of exemplary service on the Board of Trustees and by your generous and unfailing support over the years. In recognition of all you have done to promote and preserve the academic and financial well-being of the college, Reed is privileged to confer upon you the status of trustee emeritus." Bunnett, a faculty member at UCSC since 1966, received his B.A. from Reed College in 1942.
