The Stevenson Program on Global Security Winter Colloquium continues on Monday, February 3, with a talk by Jonathan Fox, associate professor of Latin American and Latino studies, on the topic "Taking Stock of the World Bank's 'Sustainable Development' Reforms: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." The colloquium is held from 3:30 to 4:40 p.m. in Room 110 of Social Sciences 1. For more information, call (408) 459-2833.

The Center for Cultural Studies Colloquium Series continues with a presentation by Jim Clifford, professor of history of consciousness, on the topic "Travel and the Ethnographic Habitus," on Wednesday, February 5, in the Cowell College Conference Room. The session begins at noon, with a 30-40 minute presentation beginning at 12:15 p.m., followed by discussion. The center supplies coffee and tea, and participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.

Sexual Orientation in the Workplace: Facts and Myths is the title of a workshop offered on Wednesday, February 5, from 10 a.m. to noon by Training and Development. The workshop is primarily intended for heterosexual staff to learn about sexual diversity and to develop skills to be an ally, but all are welcome. Call (408) 459-5565 to enroll.
