Fred Siff (right), associate vice chancellor for CATS, joined about a dozen other members of the Santa Cruz community in assuming a temporary disability for the county's first Disability Awareness Day, October 22. He is shown here in UCSC's Ming Ong Computer Lab with Foster Andersen, who acted as Siff's guide during the workday. Andersen is the director of Shared Adventures, which provides outdoor recreational programs and activities for people with disabilities. Siff gave the computer lab a passing grade for accessibility.
