UCSC Women's Club hosts annual garden tour on April 25

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SANTA CRUZ, CA--Six beautiful area gardens will be open to the public during the UCSC Women's Club annual Garden Tour on Sunday, April 25, from noon to 4 p.m. A reception follows from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., at University House at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Six unique Santa Cruz gardens will be showcased. "A Children's Garden," "A Medley of Fountains," "Garden with a History," and "A Sylvan Playground" are among this year's garden themes. Owners and landscape designers will be on hand to talk about the gardens.

Tickets, with directions to the gardens, are $10 and are available at Norrie's at the UCSC Arboretum, Integrand Design in Santa Cruz, and Jones and Bones in Capitola. Tickets may also be purchased at any of the garden sites. All proceeds benefit the Rita Olsen Pister Endowed Scholarship Fund for UCSC re-entry students.
