PUBLIC INVITED TO ATTEND 21ST ANNUAL PRINT SALE AT UC SANTA CRUZ

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SANTA CRUZ, CA--The public is invited to attend a sale featuring low-cost original prints by student artists and others affiliated with the printmaking studio at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The sale takes place on Friday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Baskin Visual Arts, Room G-101.

Block prints, lithographs, etchings, and monotypes created throughout the academic year will be on sale for $5 and up. Proceeds will go to the artists and to the printmaking program. Student artists and staff will be on hand to discuss techniques and answer questions.

The sale coincides with Open Studio, during which student works done throughout the spring quarter will be on display in the Baskin Visual Arts complex. Open Studio takes place on Friday, June 9, from noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call (408) 459-2272 or (408) 459-2887.
