UC programs help students, families afford college

The Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan is a UC financial aid program intended to expand access to the University for lower-income students by establishing a minimum level of grant aid for undergraduates with financial need and household incomes of less than $70,000 Fact sheets: In English En Espanol

UC Santa Cruz's Financial Aid and Scholarship Office is committed to making it possible for admitted students to attend UCSC regardless of economic circumstances.

Each year, the campus assists more than 10,000 students — or about 6 out of every 10 undergraduates — with scholarships, grants, loans, and/or part-time employment opportunities. We also assist graduate students with federal student loans.

These resources, totaling over $160 million annually, help make UCSC's extraordinary learning facilities affordable to all California students.
