Traffic Alert
On Monday, April 26, and Tuesday, April 27, there may be some
intermittent brief delays for traffic along Empire Grade, near the
Arboretum. The reason is that three large liguid propane gas (LPG) tanks
that formerly stored gas for university use are being removed. The work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Monday and to continue through
Tuesday, April 27. The removal of the tanks will reguire the use of some
heavy equipment, including a large crane and several large trucks. The
company with which the university has contracted to do the work will be
providing traffic control when necessary during the day.
