[Photo of Chancellor Greenwood, other administrators, and students with ceremonial shovels at the groundbreaking] A groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction on a 10,600-square-foot weight training and fitness center on campus took place on June 9 at the East Field. In addition to the traditional shovel ceremony, the event featured a wellness fair with holistic health activities including massage and acupressure, community drumming, a barbecue dinner, and the rock band Sista Monica.
