Appointments

Adrienne Harrell has been appointed to the newly created position of director of development for student affairs and the colleges. In her new position, Harrell will focus on developing increased private-gift support for scholarships, college endowments, athletic programs, and other support for students at UCSC.

Harrell received her B.A. in religion from Pomona College. Harrell has a long record of commitment to serving students. In addition to her formal job responsibilities, she also served for three years as a volunteer residential preceptor at Cowell College and has spent many hours of personal time as a mentor for students.
