Chemistry demonstrations galvanize kids at Discovery Museum

Cliff Harris, Ph.D. candidate in chemistry and biochemistry at UCSC, calls himself "The Kid's Chemist." That nickname is well deserved, Harris proved recently, as he held hundreds of kids in thrall with chemistry demonstrations at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. Regents adopt budget proposal for 1997-98

A 1997-98 budget proposal which would provide the University of California with slightly less state support than it received in 1989-90 was adopted November 15 by the Board of Regents.
