Cliff Harris helped first grader Stephanie Zitman of the Yavneh Day School, Los Gatos, drop salt into a saturated solution of sodium acetate to demonstrate rapid crystal growth. About 50 students from the school watched Harris's demonstrations at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose.
