UCSC to embark upon major expansion of its engineering programs
A commitment of $2 million from UC's Office of the President will help UCSC launch a long-planned and ambitious expansion of its engineering programs.

Thousands of visitors at the Long Marine Lab's annual open house on October 13 learned about the latest plans for the long-awaited Visitor Education Center. 'Official' figures confirm enrollment increase
The number of new students who entered UCSC this fall increased by more than 200 over last fall, and the total number of students is also up, according to third-week enrollment figures released by the Office of Planning and Budget.
