Alumni News: Banana Slug Spring Fair Campus Open House, April 21--23

Saturday: April 22

Reunion for the classes of '70, '75, '80, '85, and '90. The Class of '75 will meet and reminisce at a twenty-year reunion dinner. Members of the classes of '70, '75, '80, '85, and '90 will gather at an all-class reunion luncheon.

College receptions for alumni and parents. Each college (except Cowell) invites its alumni and parents to socialize with faculty, staff, and each other at an afternoon open-house reception. Cowell will hold its annual dessert reception and waltz in the evening.

Twentieth-anniversary celebration of Oakes College. Alumni of Oakes College are invited to a symposium and reception celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the college's naming. Founding provost Herman Blake will be the keynote speaker. These events will launch a campaign to renew the mission of the college.

Gay, lesbian, and bisexual alumni reunion. Participants can tell their stories and enjoy the work of alumni authors and artists at the first lesbian, gay, and bisexual UC Santa Cruz alumni reunion. For more information and an invitation, call the Alumni Office at (800) 933-SLUG.

Faculty lectures, campus tours, and other events for everyone. See UCSC's newest buildings as well as familiar old stomping grounds. Enjoy lectures from UCSC's best and favorite faculty members.

Special events for families of current and prospective students. Events organized by the Admissions Office offer information for prospective students and families. Parents of current students can take workshops on such topics as preparing for competitive careers, participating in faculty research, and athletics.
