Alumni scholarship recipients

Five of the Alumni Association's seven 1995-96 scholarship recipients celebrated their accomplishments together at the spring alumni awards luncheon. Recipients of the $2,000 need-based scholarships are Alicia Silverman (Crown, global economics), Javier Garcia (Cowell, proposed language studies), Shayna Lazarevich (Merrill, anthropology), Lola Martin-Atilano (Merrill, mathematics and Latin American studies), and Derrick Jackson (Porter, psychology), Michael Downey (Stevenson, philosophy and psychology) and Cecilia Benjumea (Oakes, proposed art).
