Re: Women Leaders 2000 conference
The upcoming conference "Women Leaders 2000: A Symposium for Women in University
Settings" will offer wonderful opportunities for education, inspiration, and
connection for all university women - and particularly those at UCSC.
The conference is Thursday, March 9, and Friday, March 10, at the Cathedral Hill
Hotel, and it is attracting a great mix of women from all of the UC campuses (the
target audience). Speakers include some familiar names from within the system--like
Chancellor Greenwood, UCLA Vice Chancellor Claudia Mitchell-Kernan, and UCSB Vice
Chancellor France Cordova--and some famous folks from other realms, like Julianne
Malveaux, Jean Shinoda Bolen, Pat Heim, and Chin-Ning Chu. If you visit the conference
website, you'll see the full (and very diverse) line-up of presenters and programs.
For all the details, just visit the conference
Web site. From there you can download and print a copy of the registration form,
and fax it to UCSF at 415-476-4849.
