There will be no daytime psychological coverage from Counseling & Psychological
Services after 5 PM Thursday, June 8, 2000. Counseling and Psychological Services
will begin regular appointments on Monday, September 18, 2000.
During Summer 2000 the Counseling & Psychological Services Administrative Office
in the Health Center facility will remain open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday
to provide information regarding referrals, and for consultation to faculty and staff.
There will be no regularly scheduled counseling appointments during the summer break.
The office will be closed for university holidays on July 4 and September 4.
Night and weekend psychological crisis coverage by the Residential Crisis Program
(RCP) will end on Tuesday, June 13, at 8:00 AM. There will be no night or weekend
crisis coverage during the summer. The crisis intervention team at Dominican Hospital
can be called at 462-7719 to advise on the need for psychiatric hospitalization.
Coverage by the RCP will begin September 14, 2000.
In the event that a student should require psychological assistance, community resources
are available. Please contact our central office at 459-2628 and we will send you
copies of our Emergency Referral and Assistance Cards, which list the major community
resources and their telephone numbers.
