Re: ITS Service Announcement: Thimann Labs

We are writing to apprise you that at approximately 12:45PM today, November 20, a steam pipe burst on the first floor of Thimann Labs where telephone and network wiring and equipment are kept. As a result, telephone and network service outages are occurring in this building.

UCSC Plumbers are currently on site repairing the break. Network wiring and equipment have been damaged by the water and will take some time to be restored to working condition.

We expect that telephone and network services in Thimann Labs will be restored by 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, November 21. If anything develops that will delay completion of this work, we will send you follow up communication.
