Re: Wilder Ranch Control Burn Scheduled
California State Parks has scheduled a control burn at Wilder Ranch State Park for today, Wednesday, December 7. This burn is expected to start at noon and last most of the day.
As with any control burn in the vicinity of UCSC, there is a possibility of smoke impacting the campus. Persons who may encounter health problems related to smoke exposure should take appropriate precautions.
