Re: Draft EIR for LRDP project

UC Santa Cruz has completed work on a Draft Environmental Impact Report that assesses potential impacts related to the implementation of UCSC's Draft 2005 Long-Range Development Plan. The release of the Draft EIR today (Tuesday, October 18) begins a 60-day period in which people can submit comments on the document's adequacy.

The draft document is available at campus libraries and at the library in downtown Santa Cruz. It can also be purchased at campus and community copy centers, and it has been posted online at: http://lrdp.ucsc.edu

Two public meetings will take place during the public comment period, permitting people to submit oral or written comments in person. Written comments may also be submitted at any time during the public comment period.
