Re: May 1 Activities

As Chancellor Denton and EVC Kliger have noted, there will likely be activities on campus May 1 associated with a national movement in support of immigrant rights. We expect some staff employees will choose to participate in the events planned for May 1 and may not report to work.

Employees are expected to report to work unless a request for vacation leave has been approved. However, supervisors are encouraged to be as flexible as possible regarding employee schedules and absences on this day of extraordinary national debate.
