Re: UCSC Holiday Food Drive

Today I presented Second Harvest Food Bank with the cash, checks, and food donations collected on campus over the past month. While we have raised an impressive amount--the preliminary total is 32,723 pounds of food and cash equivalent--we are short of our goal. If you have not yet contributed to the UCSC Holiday Food Drive, I urge you to do what you can now. Donations will be accepted next week until campus closure. 

They may be sent via campus mail to UCSC Holiday Food Drive. Our UCSC faculty, staff, and students have been strong supporters of Santa Cruz county programs that provide a safety net for those in need. Thank you for your generosity.
