Re: Naming of New UCSC Chancellor

UC President Dynes announced today that the Board of Regents has selected Denice Dee Denton to be UC Santa Cruz's ninth chancellor.

President Dynes will officially present Chancellor-Designate Denton to the campus's faculty and staff on Wednesday (December 15, 2004).

The event will take place from 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the Media Theater (adjacent to Theater Arts Mainstage). A brief reception will follow.
