Re: Passing of staff member Sarah "Sally" Grant

It is with sadness that I write to inform you of the death last week of Sarah "Sally" Grant, a facilities coordinator with the Division of Physical and Biological Sciences. Sally, who had been ill, passed away at home last Wednesday at the age of 55.

Memorial services will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, at 515 38th Avenue in Santa Cruz. There will be a potluck reception at the family home following the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association of Santa Cruz County, Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Association, or the Seymour Marine Discovery Center.

Please join me in expressing condolences to Sally's two children, Dan and Nora, to other family members, and to her many friends both on and off campus.
