Re: Economic Impact Survey

Each year UC Santa Cruz analyzes the campus's economic impact within the Santa Cruz region. This annual report estimates University, student, staff, and faculty spending, and outlines other positive cultural and social benefits UCSC offers the community.

This spring we are updating some of the basic facts that inform this annual study and would like to ask you some questions about your shopping habits, housing situation, the visitors you host, and other issues.

The survey only takes about ten minutes to complete, and your feedback is very important in helping us understand the relationship between the University and the surrounding community. All of your responses will remain anonymous.

To participate in the survey, please go to the following website:
http://planning.ucsc.edu/EconImpact2005/

We hope you will take a moment to participate. If you have any questions about the survey or the economic analysis in general, please feel free to contact Simon Alejandrino, Senior Associate at Bay Area Economics (salejandrino@bayareaeconomics.com or 510-549-7310).

Thank you for your participation.
