Administrative Message May 5, 2005 To: Campus Community From: Francisco J. Hernandez, Vice Chancellor Student Affairs Re: Hahn Student Services seismic construction and associated movesAs many of you know, campus seismic improvements will begin in Fall 2005 for the Hahn Student Services building, with completion by Fall 2006. Because services on the second floor will be temporarily relocated, this retrofit project will greatly affect how students, faculty and staff are directed to a variety of student services. Those relocating from the second floor include the offices of the Associate Vice Chancellors (Student Affairs and CUHS), Financial Aid, Student Business Services (formerly Accounts Receivable), Academic Editors, Student Affairs Development, Divisional Administrative Officer, the Student Fee Advisory Committee and Judicial Affairs. Also, the Community Rentals Office in Hahn will move across the hall into the Campus Housing Office. These moves are scheduled to begin in May and will be staggered through July. Locations will be announced on web pages, in phone messages and in printed materials. Large informational signs will be placed around Hahn to direct visitors to the new office locations.
