Re: Growth and Stewardship Task Force Survey

UC Santa Cruz is engaged in long-term planning for the campus, including planning activities related to campus-sponsored housing for faculty and staff. It is critical to these planning efforts that the campus obtain information about faculty and staff housing needs as well as prospective interest in campus-sponsored housing.

This data-collection effort is being conducted under the auspices of the Growth and Stewardship Task Force, with the endorsement of the Faculty Welfare Committee, the Campus Welfare Committee and the Staff Advisory Board.

To gather this information, the campus has engaged Godbe Research to conduct an Internet survey of all faculty and all staff. You will be contacted by Godbe Research via email, and asked to participate in the online survey. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. The information that will be collected will be managed confidentially by Godbe Research, who will provide the campus with aggregated survey results.

We strongly encourage you to take the time to respond to this housing survey, which will greatly strengthen the campus' ability to respond appropriately to the housing needs of both faculty and staff. The results of the survey will be posted on the Growth and Stewardship Task Force Web page, and will be used in the ongoing planning efforts of several campus committees.

Thank you in advance for your input to this important data-collection effort.
