May 4, 2001 To: The Campus Community From: TAPS Re: Transportation survey Dear UCSC Faculty/Staff Member: Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) invites all faculty and staff to respond to its transportation survey by pointing their web browser to http://www2.ucsc.edu/taps.  By completing the survey, you will be eligible to win one of five $100 cash prizes if you respond no later than May 11! Much like last year's, the survey is designed to assess the travel patterns of faculty, staff and students and will be used to help plan new transportation programs and improvements to better accommodate the needs of the campus community. You will be asked to describe your campus commute trips and travel patterns for each day of the week, April 30 - May 4. In addition, TAPS will be conducting a test-run of a Commute Route Survey that consists of a point-and-click map to identify which routes individuals drive to and from campus. You will find this survey after you have completed the 2001 Transportation Survey. For more information on these surveys, please contact Larry Pageler at pageler@cats.ucsc.edu.
