August 21, 2000 Campus message: Road construction information Reduced Speed at Hagar/McLaughlin Intersection Due to ongoing construction activities at the Hagar/McLaughlin intersection, the speed limit in this area will be temporarily reduced to 10 mph. This action is being taken due to safety concerns after consultation with the Campus Police. Steinhart Way One Way Effective 8/22/00 to 9/2/00, the Steinhart Way service road from below the Thimann stockroom to the Kerr Hall road will become one-way, southeast bound. This is necessary to allow safe construction of a sidewalk on the edge of the road. Mailservice, shuttle service and other service vehicles will take alternative roads when heading northbound at this area.
