Hernandez, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Re: Colleges, Housing, Dining, and Childcare Services Reorganization After careful deliberation and consideration of the input provided by various constituents, I am pleased to announce a change in reporting relationships within the Student Affairs Division. This reorganization is a part of the overall strategy of the Division of Student Affairs to maximize organizational efficiencies by clustering associated programs together in ways which enhance our ability to achieve commonly shared goals and objectives, and provide increased opportunities for collaboration in the delivery of services to students.  Effective July 1, 2001, Associate Vice Chancellor Jean Marie Scott will be charged with the direct management and responsibility for all of the Student Affairs components of the colleges. This charge will include a direct reporting line between each College Administrative Officer (CAO) and AVC Scott. Additionally, the title for AVC Scott will now be Associate Vice Chancellor, Colleges, Housing Dining and Childcare Services. I look forward to a continuing relationship with the colleges through the insightful leadership of Associate Vice Chancellor Scott.
