6/13/01 To: Campus Community From: Ed Titus, Telecommunications Technical Services Manager Re: Campus telephone service interruption The campus telephone system will be shut down this evening (June 13) at 8 p.m. for approximately 4 hours. The telephone system is being upgraded to handle additional campus growth. Service will be restored no later than midnight. Should you experience any problems with telephone service after this outage please report them to Telephone Services via e-mail: csr@cats. Pay, elevator, and emergency telephones will not be affected. In an emergency, 911 calls via cell phones, pay phones, and emergency phones will be handled by the university and the county 911 Dispatch Centers.
