October 16, 2000 To: The Campus Community From: Les Elkind, Director of Student Health Services Re: Flu shots Flu shots are now available to students, staff, and faculty on a walk-in basis at the Student Health Center. There is a national vaccine shortage this year, so supplies are limited. We particularly want to alert persons with respiratory disease or other chronic illness and the elderly to obtain their immunization soon. Flu shots at the Health Center are offered Mon-Fri from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. at a cost of $10. No appointment is necessary, simply check-in with the receptionist when you arrive.
