Re: Earth Day celebration

Dear Colleagues,

I encourage you to celebrate our responsibility in protecting and maintaining all natural resources by joining State Assemblyman Fred Keeley at Earth Day on Sunday, April 22 in San Lorenzo Park from 12pm to 6pm. California's on-going energy crisis, which continues to effect our campus and homes, recalls to us the fragility of our environment and natural resources. The Earth Day program is designed to inform and raise awareness of the environmental challenges we face locally and globally. Please join me in supporting this event.

For more information about the Earth Day celebration in Santa Cruz and how you can get involved, call CALPIRG 459-4649 or the Student Union Assembly at 459-2899.

M.R.C. Greenwood
Chancellor
