Re: Transportation workshops

Transportation and Parking Services would like to take this opportunity to invite you to two transportation workshops that the City of Santa Cruz will be conducting on campus tomorrow Tuesday, October 24, at the Cowell College Conference Room. These workshops are being conducted as part of a series of neighborhood workshops for the City's Master Transportation Study and will provide faculty, staff, students, and University neighbors the opportunity to discuss issues, concerns and potential solutions regarding transportation access to the campus and throughout the City. Voice your concerns regarding transit, bike and pedestrian access, dangerous intersections, traffic congestion, etc.

The afternoon workshop will be conducted as a drop-in basis where you can provide input on a variety of issues. The evening workshop will be run as small group discussions. Please note that since this is a City-sponsored workshop, the discussion will NOT focus on campuswide transportation issues. For more information on these workshops, please contact Teresa Buika at tabuika@cats.ucsc.edu.

Two meetings will be held:

Tuesday, October 24 -- Cowell College Conference Room

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Drop in for all or part of your lunch break

OR

7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

If you have comments regarding transportation services or facilities on campus, please direct them to TAPS@cats.ucsc.edu.
