April 10, 2001 To: The Campus Community From: Staff Advisory Board Re: Invitation to "Brown Bag" staff open forum AN INVITATION TO ALL STAFF Chancellor Greenwood's "BROWN BAG" Staff Open Forum Sponsored by the Staff Advisory Board April 17th, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Classroom Unit II Refreshments Available Chancellor Greenwood will provide an update on the state budget, energy crisis, housing, child care, and other staff issues. The Staff Advisory Board (SAB) recognized at the last November "Brown Bag", that staff were not afforded ample time to express their needs and concerns. Per SAB's recommendation, Chancellor Greenwood extended the "Brown Bag" an additional one half hour for staff discussion and to accommodate time restraints for lunch and office schedules. MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PROVIDE RELEASE TIME TO EMPLOYEES TO ATTEND THIS EVENT. The SAB highly recommends that staff attend. Talk it up with your colleagues because your collective voices do make an impression! Let's fill Classroom Unit II and remember your "presence" has impact. See you there!
