May 29, 2001 To: VICE CHANCELLORS, DEANS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, COLLEGE PROVOSTS, MANAGERS/SUPERVISORS, UNIT HEADS From: Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Office and Title IX/Sexual Harassment Office Re: New EEO/AA & Title IX/sexual harassment brochure distribution During the next few weeks a new brochure developed jointly by the Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Office and the Title IX/Sexual Harassment Office will be mailed to all academic and non-academic employees including TA's and other student employees. This convenient brochure provides contact and resource information regarding the University's policies on discrimination, sexual assault, and sexual harassment. The brochures are available in English, Spanish, and Tagalog. The English version of this brochure will be mailed to the address the employee's paycheck is sent. The Spanish and Tagalog versions are available by contacting either office, and we are asking for your assistance in helping us distribute the brochure to your employees in the language most appropriate. In addition, please forward this e-mail to your staff so that they may also request a Spanish or Tagalog version from our offices directly.
