October 4, 2000 To: The Campus Community From: UCSC Police Department Re: Assailant wanted for questioning The following person is wanted for questioning regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. If you see this person, contact the UCSC Police Department immediately. (831) 459-2231 SUSPECT INFORMATION: White male About 18 years of age Approximately 6' 0" tall Thin build Bleached blond hair, spiked in front, bowl cut in back No facial hair, described as a clean cut "surfer type" Last seen wearing a gray colored T-shirt, possibly with buttons down the front, and baggy blue jeans Weapon used was possibly a 2 foot silver colored cylindrical object. Assault occurred 10/3/00 at approximately 1545 hours (3:45 PM), on the foot bridge between Classroom Unit 1 and the Earth and Marine Sciences building. Suspect fled on foot toward the Classroom Unit, then down the ravine near the Classroom Unit toward Steinhart Drive. Jan Tepper Chief of University Police
