2013 Society of Women Engineers Region A Conference: Hiking to Success
Registration is now open!
We are proud to announce the 10th anniversary of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the University of California, Santa Cruz. We will be hosting the 2013 SWE Region A Conference at the UC Santa Cruz campus from April 5 to April 7, 2013. Our theme, "Hiking to Success," will provide a wonderful opportunity to showcase our beautiful campus in the heart of the Central Coast, just south of Silicon Valley with breathtaking coastline views and gorgeous redwood trees. We plan to demonstrate innovative research being conducted at our campus as well as expose students to professional development opportunities. Also, we are hosting our professional members, allowing them to seek new opportunities professionally or academically. We anticipate attendees representing a broad array of engineering disciplines including mechanical, civil, chemical, biomedical, and many more. Together, we can demonstrate Santa Cruz's potential as an engineering hub and help the Society of Women Engineers continue reaching future goals.
