Academic Senate to hold forum on the proposed Santa Clara Valley Regional Center

The campus community is invited to attend an Academic Senate forum on the proposed
Santa Clara Valley Regional Center on Tuesday, November 16, from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
in Classroom Unit 2.
The forum is intended to provide background information and answer questions about
the proposed center. The forum will be moderated by Academic Senate Chair Roger Anderson
and will feature a panel including:
- Campus Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor John Simpson;
- Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Francisco Hernandez;
- Santa Clara Valley Initiatives Project Director Connie Martinez;
- Committee on Educational Policy Chair George Brown;
- Committee on Planning and Budget Chair John Hay;
- Graduate Council Chair David Belanger;
- and Professor and Chair of Latin American and Latino Studies Manuel Pastor.
