colleague delivers antiwar message
James M. Lawson Jr., who worked with Martin Luther King in the 1950s and '60s, said he was "appalled" by discussion of a war with Iraq. The longtime advocate of nonviolent activism spoke at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation on January 21 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.
